women's slippers

The slipper or house shoe (pantoufle, French = slipper) is a comfortable shoe that was developed for home use and was intended to keep street dirt out.
They first appeared in Coptic graves from the 2nd century and finally found their way to Europe via Byzantium and Italy in the 15th century. In the 19th century, the previously open-backed form was also sometimes made with a heel cap.
Nowadays, there are many different types of slippers. The choice always depends on your personal needs. In winter, they are often made of warm materials such as felt, lambskin or new wool, while in summer they are often made of open mules made of leather, imitation leather, light textiles or rubber. The soles are usually soft and flexible, which ensures that they are comfortable to wear and protects your home floors.
Slippers are now being produced that combine tried-and-tested soles with high-quality upper materials and therefore offer a very high level of comfort.
